I saw the blizzard text somewhere on Pinterest (oh how I love Pinterest). It felt right for me in a couple of ways. First of all my life has been thrown upside down and inside out in just a small amount of time (like a blizzard). I also have a new special someone in my life. Which is very nice and the text can relate to him as well.
I’ve been known to work hard and be done quickly. Sometimes I miss things because I go trough everything so fast. And then I have to go back and fix the things I have missed. I guess I need to be patient with myself
So this mood board is a reminder for myself. You need to slow down sometimes! Don’t be hasty and take your time.
Like the photo’s in the moodboard. They portrait calmness. I think I’ll print this one out and hang it above my screen.

Every time I drive to work I see this beautiful field with wild flowers. And every time I thought to myself, I should make some photos there. So one sunny Saturday morning I grabbed my camera and stepped into my car, with one thing on my mind. Too take some pretty pictures off course, you perv.
A long time ago I had a DSRL with a macro lens. A sold it to go on a holiday. But I did take some pretty pictures with that lens. I just love macro photography, too see all those magical detailes that nature holds for us. So I am definitely looking for a new macro lens. Until then the kit lens will have to do.
I totally adore wild flowers. Especially the flower fields next to a road so you can admire them on your way too work. Lighten your mood and remind you, not everything is as bad as it seems. We will always have bright red poppies. And those weird white flowers that look extra-terrestial.
Cheers!
