This Pantone Universe 24 Colour Eyeshadow Palette has been sitting on my shelve for way to long. I bought it when I was in Ireland, in October. I wanted to take good pictures of it, but cause of the move I didn’t have the time. But it’s here now, in all its glory. It makes me very happy I can tell you.
I saw the palette when I was browsing trough the Boots. Loved it immediately and tossed it in my basket. It’s such a ‘designer geek’ thing to have. And as a girl who loves to play with make-up I just couldn’t imagine not having it.
I haven’t found any other reviews online of this particular palette, but I saw that there was a collaboration with Sephora! So cool, and that’s on my wish list as well.
On to the swatches!
This palette traveled with my from Ireland, to home and then there also was a move. I’m sorry to say I dropped it once and some colours came a bit loose.
I must say, I was really disappointed with the first row of colours. So little pigment came off. They’re matt colours and they are known to be less pigmented, but that was quite the downer.
When I got to the second row I was very pleased. Super nice colours and the pigment is perfect. Nice and creamy texture, the colour came easily.
The third row is the Big Bang on this palette. Such wow. Much appreciate.
The last row is also very cool. I love the cool toned colours. And that purple. Also the white is very pigmented, but it’s a matt so that was quite the surprise.
All in all I am very VERY happy with this palette. As a true Non beauty blogger, my full on face photos turned out very derpy, I just had to share. (At least I tried, lol). (The lighting is the problem here, not my face, hahahaha).
But I did manage to take a photo of my eye look with my iPhone. So all is right with this blogpost. It was really cool to play with colours that have so much pigment. I not quite used to that, so this is a work-in-progress.
I also wanted to share this photo, I lightly dabbed my brush in the lovely teal colour. This really shows the quality of the colours.
I’m very happy with my Pantone Universe 24 Colour Eyeshadow Palette. I bought it at Boots for € 23,00. I haven’t seen it in the Netherlands, alas. If I ever run into a new palette by Pantone, it’s a definite buy for me.
What do you think of this palette? Let me know in the comments!
