I’ve been eyeballing the Urban Decay Vice 4 Palette ever since it was first announced. I love colour and I love Urban Decay so it’s a match made in heaven. I made the splurge a couple of weeks ago when it was on sale on Feel Unique dot com and Boy, do I love this palette!
First off, the design. It is to die for. But seriously, each and every palette that has been made has its own oil spill pattern. Some are more vibrant, others have more pink. I love mine, it has the perfect mixture of colours and it’s nice and vibrant.
It comes in a bag, which is wasted on me. I don’t keep palettes in bags, such a hassle to get out (#firstworldproblem).
On to my swatch review! (That’s why you’re here right?)
Bones – Blush with grey undertone satin finish
Grip – Matte taupe kinda dry to the touch has to be built up
Deadbeat – Dark grey with glitters
Beat Down – Purple violet duo chrome, metallic finish
Pandemonium – Sparkly plum
Framed – Matte skin coloured, not as dry as grip
Fast-Ball – Pink with orange, duo chrome (Love this colour) metallic finish
1985 – Fuchsia with satin finish
Underhand – Reddish brown that can be built up to make it super dark
Harlot – Lavender metallic finish
Discreet – Lilac Taupe with matte finish
Grasshopper – Bright green, super duper pigmented, metallic finish
C-Note – Mossy greyish green, metallic finish
Arctic – Turquoise with a subtle glitter, metallic finish
Robbery – Gun-metal brown with metallic finish
Bitter – Lovely matte orange brown shade, highly pigmented
Flame – Dark and light orange duo chrome, metallic finish
Low – Dark taupe, with lots of glitters, lots of fall-out from the glitters
Crowbar – Dark olive-green in the pan, but doesn’t deliver, very greyish when swatched
Delete – Dark brown matte has nice pigment
There’s also a brush, which isn’t half bad, maybe even good if you’re into purple brushes that pick up colour, like sprinkles stick to a donut. Yeah, I just compared a brush to a donut. Sorrynotsorry. The fluffy side is nice for blending. The side on the photo below is great for applying the colours, so it really pops from my eyes.
I say, move over boyfriend, this is my new lover (haha, no that’s not true). Love this palette and I hope you do to
Oh, almost forgot, eye looks. Cuz that’s my specialty *cough* so not *cough*.
Used some Flame all around my eyes, except for the purple part, that’s the colour Harlot. Pretty awesome colours.
